Nokia with Talks

Hi All,
My contract period with Verizon is up. I'm currently in the middle of evaluating the LG 5300 and it works well.
I know that Talks works with a lot of Nokia phones, but are any of these phones hearing aid compatibal? I talked with Cingular and they said nun of the phones that support Talks will work with my T coyl on my hearing aids.
I had Cingular a few years back, and do have a Nokia loop. Would any of the phones that support Talks work with the Nokia loop? I really don't want to have to be tied down by the loop since it is not wireless and have to be worn around the neck.
Bottem line: I want to try a phone with talks that works with hearing aids and see if I like the access with talks better than I'm getting from my current provider. If there are no phones available with these options then I'll stick with verizon. Also the phone must have a vibrate mode. Since I do ware headphones the phone needs to vibrate so I can be alerted that it is ringing.
Thanks all for all the help you can give,
John

I really wish I could help. The only thing I can think of is to possibly contact Cingular, find out which Nokias would work with your hearing aid, and then go to the Nuance website and see if you can find any of those phones in the list of phones that work with Talks. Hope you find something!

Thanks Brook. I did all that and the two phones that Cingular has that works with hearing aids does not work with Talks.

I have to wear a hearing aid in my right ear because I'm moderately deaf on that side, so I sometimes plug a normal bluetooth headset in to my phone and turn the volume up, both with Talks and when I'm in a call and I have the vibrating alert turned on so I feel it as well as hear it when my Nokia N70 rings if someone is calling me or I receive a text message. I've never had to use loop sets or anything though.

I use my right ear to understand speech as well. I am moderet to saveer with a sloping hearing loss from low to high. How does these bluetooth headsets work? Do they amplify the signal through your T coyl? Wareing a normal mike/headset combo in a phone doesn't work for me. There isn't enough amplifacation. To put it in prospective, both my Clairien cordless is 40 DB, and my other corded phone is 50 DB of amplifacation.
